I have been a hairdresser for over fifteen years. I love my work and the creativity that it allows me. I love getting to know my clients and I always try to truly understand their wants and needs in regard to their hair care and lifestyle. I enjoy making people feel good about themselves and helping them to look their very best. I am very passionate about hair color which has led me to become a certified master colorist with a lot of advanced color training. I have taken many master cutting classes as well. My hope is that by merging your vision with my unique knowledge and expertise, you will leave my chair with a style that is suited to your individual needs and makes you feel great!

I have been involved in the salon industry for more than 13 years. I am one of the owners of Curves Hair Studio and consider myself a jack-of-many-trades. My position within the team here at Curves allows me to participate as a shampoo assistant,  and studio coordinator. Our clients have told me that I give one of the greatest scalp massages around and I take great pride in that! I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this business for such an amount of time and do whatever is needed to make it the unique environment that our clients have come to expect it to be. I love our clients- we enjoy having them in the Studio and I'm so glad that we make them feel at home.

Having been a hair stylist for over 20 years, I feel so blessed to have a career that I love and that never feels like true work to me. I am very passionate about the beauty industry and love to work with dimensional color, cutting and waxing. Of course make-up and formal styles for those special occasions are a specialty of mine as well. I have continued my education further by attending classes provided by Matrix, Aquage, Aveda, Wella, and Paul Mitchell. I also enjoy attending hair shows and believe that you should never stop learning new things!

I consider many of my clients to also be my friends and enjoy learning more about their lives each time they sit in my chair. They often tell me that I am a perfectionist, almost to a fault, and notice that I pay great attention to each and every detail. Whether you are a client I've had for 20 years or it's your first time in my chair, I treat all my clients with respect and professionalism. I truly enjoy helping my clients find a look to suit their hair type, needs, and lifestyle. I married my high school sweetheart and we have three beautiful daughters. My family is my world! In my free time I love to exercise, travel, and to indulge myself in some paranormal investigating.

Swing by Curves today and have a seat at my station- I'd love to meet you!

My many years of experience as a hairstylist and the passion that I have for the industry has taken me in many directions.
In 1982 at the age of 17, I began training for three years before I became licensed in Cosmetology in Germany and reached the Master Craftsman’s Diploma for Cosmetology in 2000.

I have been exposed to several different trends and techniques of coloring and cutting for unisex and multiracial hairstyles through the decades. I chose to involve myself in the barber business for five years in Germany in order to enrich my expertise.

When I came to the United States in 2001, I received my Cosmetology license for Virginia in 2002.  I maintain the true “Customer Service Rule” and received the Archived Cosmetology Instructing License in 2002, plus I have instructed for four years in the industry.

I keep myself up-to-date with the latest cutting and coloring techniques.

While applying the different corners of my expertise and mixing both the old with the new, I perform roller-sets with the same passion as flat-ironing.
From men’s services, to women’s services, to children, my passion does not stop at any age.

I graduated from French School of Beauty and Hairstyling and also studied  in the United States to receive my cosmetologist's license. In addition to passing all my final exams, I have received certifications in coloring, facials, waxing, upstyles and make-up applications.

I am fluent in Portugese, Spanish, French, and English and invite everyone and anyone to test my knowledge.

I look forward to seeing you in my chair.
